Quite a while ago, Jake took Anthony down to his Dad's farm and tried to "hunt" coyotes. They put the tree stand up and sat there with their calls. Jake got a little call for Anthony that when he squeaks it it sounds like a mouse. He thought it was the coolest thing. I love these little things they can do as boys!

Idaho State Freestyle Champ....
We are so proud of Anthony! He wrestled so hard today and came out on top! He got first at the Idaho State Freestyle Tournament.
His first match was super close. He lost the 1st period and came back and won the 2nd and 3rd periods to win the match! His 2nd match, he won the 1st and 2nd round and did the same on his 3rd match.
He wrestled so hard, just like we knew he could!
He thought it was cool that he has the same medal in two different shapes....rectangle for Folkstyle state and round for Freestyle state! What an accomplishment....way to go Anthony!
It is so fun to see him succeed in something he LOVES so much,
especially since the whole family loves it too :)!!
Lydia's Birthday Party....
Happy Birthday to Lydia! I love this little age that she is in. We got some funny pictures of her today, scowling and sticking her tongue out and they are so much like her little personality I love them! I didn't want to do a huge party, didn't know what theme to do but knew I wanted something fun for her! I found the cutest little lady bug plates and decided to do it around that theme. I did the invitations just like the plate and the cake just like the plates! I love how it turned out. Every time Lydia saw the bug...she would make a little face and say....eww bug...but then would LOVE it!
Both sets of Grandparents and our good friends the Baksis' were here to celebrate Lydia's birthday. It was a fun little party! She was so excited for the dresses, baby and candy she got!!

Lydia is 2...
Wow, I cannot believe my little Lydia is 2! The last year has gone so fast. It is weird to think that she is not going to be my baby much longer. It always makes me sad when they grow up. This is by far my favorite age and stage so far. I love how they want to learn things, want to explore things and even want to do EVERY-thing by themselves.
Lydia LOVES and things she does:
--singing
--talking
-dancing
--fish
-- scowling :)
--animals
--she has actually started eating more than just fruit snacks
--she loves playing with her brother and sister most of the time, unless she is super grumpy
--she talks all the time and most of the things you can understand. My favorite is when she asks "where ARE you?" and you are right in front of her!
--she is such an active, happy little girl!!
Happy Birthday Lydia...so glad you are in our family!!
Easter Saturday....
We like to celebrate the Easter Bunny part of Easter on Saturday so Friday night the Easter bunny came and set up their baskets and presents. they didn't get much in their basket since they got scooters and a fishing pole for their present. They were excited about their own box of peeps though :). You cannot really tell in the picture, but the little things all over the floor are the jellybeans trail that the Easter Bunny leaves all the way up to their rooms. That was Lydia's favorite part...stopping and eating almost all of them on the way down.
After Anthony's wrestling tournament, my parents hid the Easter eggs around the front yard and they were ready when we pulled in. It was a fun little personal hunt for the kids. Didn't have to fight crowds or worry about the kids even getting Easter eggs. It was a very fun candy filled, eventful day!
Presents from Grandma & Grandpa....
The kids love getting a box in the mail with their name on it and never fail, if there is a holiday G & G Guymon send them something! This Easter was no exception. They got those big pens, aprons and some candy in those cute pails. They could not have been happier running around wearing their aprons. My kids got hyped up on sugar on Tuesday night after a ward Easter egg hunt and didn't stop until....oh wait, they still haven't stopped!! Gotta love holidays with so much candy!

A treat/reward...
Anthony and Jenna have both given the scripture and prayer lately in Primary and since they did such a good job Jake let them pick out a treat. Anthony chose ice-cream sandwiches and Jenna agreed. When Jenna did it, she wouldn't say the scripture because people could see her but as soon as she could close her eyes, she gave a great prayer! Its weird to see our kids growing up and have 2 in primary!!
FHE dying eggs....
We had a super busy schedule this week and the only day we could fit in dying Easter eggs was on Monday, but I think it was a great FHE activity so we went with it. The kids had a blast. They could have colored eggs all night long. They kept putting the same egg into different colors and eventually one of the eggs came out pretty close to black...but they still had a lot of fun! Jenna liked putting the stickers all the way around the egg in a nice little circle. I love doing fun things like this with the kids!

Playing the piano and singing...
I am not sure when this girl got old enough to climb up on the piano bench and 'play' the piano, but she did. I could hear her little voice singing on Sunday when I was getting ready for church and decided to sneak up and see what she was doing. This is what I found...so adorable! I love seeing the kids be themselves without us knowing. After I took the second picture, she looked around and decided to be shy, but as soon as I left the room she was right back at playing the piano and singing!
JennaMarie...
Our sweet little Brownie. She is growing up right before our very eyes. It seems like she is turning into a little girl instead of a grown-up baby.
A few things that we love about her right now are:
--She just loves to color with just about anything, including a glue stick with nothing to stick to it.
--She loves to look at books and will do it with Lydia all the time.
--She loves to play with her hair and have it done.
--She LOVES chap-stick and mine is always missing.
--She loves to have her fingernails painted.
--She just is a very happy girl...always smiling, singing or giggling!!

The force is strong...
The force is strong at our house lately. Anthony is really into Star Wars and so I thought I'd make him some Star Wars cloaks. I had to make sure I made one for his friend Brady that also loves Star Wars when he comes to the house and plays, so we have 2 of each color. Apparently, it is more fun being the bad guy because they have A LOT more interest in the black ones than the brown ones. We think Lydia would make a perfect Yoda!!
I love my kids!!!

A visit to the park....
We were lucky enough to be in Salt Lake when Jeremy and Becky and kids were there too! It even worked out that we could see each other! We meet them at a park and let the kids play. It was a bit windy, but nothing we aren't used to up here in Idaho. The kids even got to take their coats off and enjoy the outside weather for the first time this year....it was wonderful especially since we woke up to a TON of snow the next day. These kids sure are busy!!

Living Planet Aquarium...
We went to Salt Lake City this weekend and were able to go to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. Our family loved it so much....including Jake and I. Grandma and Grandpa Guymon got to come with us and we just had such a great time. The kids loved to run to each of the tanks and see what was in it. There were trout, an octopus, sea horses, sting rays, sharks, turtles, penguins and so much more all in an old craft store!
Thanks for the fun Grandma and Grandpa!!!
Pinewood Derby...
Our Elder's Quorum had a Pinewood Derby this year and Jake repainted the last car we used and tweaked it a little bit. It did really well until the very end....not sure what happened. The Batmobile was the talk of all the kids though, they really liked it! It is such a fun activity for the boys...big and little alike!!
Loves...
I love that my kids love each other! I sure hope it continues on forever. Little moments like these bring me to tears when I see the love we all have for each other as a family. We have our share of fights, no doubt, but deep down we all love each other and love to show it!
