Christmas morning...

Christmas morning is always so fun at our house...I just love it.  Usually Anthony is the first one up (around 7:45) and he runs downstairs and sees what he gets and always comes back up and tells Jake and I what Santa brought him. Then, he will run back downstairs and find something else that he is excited about and then will come tell us again.  He does this multiple times going through his whole stocking.  It is so cute.  Then, the girls get up and go down to see what they got too.  By that point, we are awake and join them to see what they got.  Love it!  This year we had to wake Owen up around 9 to get him to come out and play, but he was super excited when he did!

Christmas Eve...

I am still in shock that this even happened and that we are on to 2013!  Christmas Eve was as usual down at the Williams house.  We always have a good time and eat yummy food down there, this year was no exception.  Grandma and Grandpa Williams got each family a camel book about Christmas and a little camel to go with it and the kids were so excited!  They handed out the ornaments to the adults and this year we got a boy and girl farmer to symbolize the land that we bought and how we had become farmers now.  It was really cute.

After the fun at the Williams it was time to come home, read the scripture stories of Jesus' arrival on Earth and act them out with the kids each having a separate nativity to set up.  It was awesome and the spirit was so strong in our home.  Then the kid set out cookies for Santa, made sure their reindeer food was out and after setting out their stockings ran off to bed.  I was surprised, but they never even once came out!  What good little kids...Santa was already on his way via the Santa tracker so they wanted to make sure they were snug in their beds.  I love the magic of Christmas with children around!
