One of my very favorite traditions we have done since moving to Idaho is going up and cutting our own Christmas tree. It is so much fun and even though the trees aren't perfect, the kids love it and it is such a fun memory to share. This year we went up by Kelly Canyon on Thanksgiving morning. Life is pretty busy this time of year for us so we decided to go get one while we had a few extra minutes. It was so much fun. The kids each got a turn cutting the tree and riding in the sled. After we got it back to the suburban Anthony wanted to sled so he and I made a nice little sled run for him. He had a great time; so did I!!

Friends...
I just love how much my kids are friends to each other. We obviously have our moments, but they truly love each other and enjoy playing together. Anthony was giving Jenna a ride as a horse and they came around and wanted Owen on too. I put him on and the instant I did he started giggling SO hard. It was so cute. He was laughing and kicking his feet and was so excited to be part of the big kids playing! Love it!!
Date Night with JennaMarie...
I had the opportunity to take JennaMarie out on a date. It was so fun and Jenna was so excited. We dressed her up, curled her hair and off we went to Miss Bonneville. She didn't stop talking the whole way in there, the whole time at the pageant and the whole way back. It was so fun getting a little one-on-one time with her! Can't wait until our next outing!

Owen is almost 6 months...
Can you just hear the giggle associated with this smile? I get to hear it all the time. Owen loves to smile and giggle. He is seriously the happiest kid and when he cries, I am not sure what to do because he never is unhappy! Love it! He sits up by himself now and loves that. He loves that he is able to sit up and look around and play with toys. He also cut his first 2 teeth. One day I was feeding him some baby food and felt the spoon scratch against something, put my finger in there and sure enough there was a tooth! Glad it wasn't too painful! We sure love our baby boy! He weighed 18 pounds a little after his 4 month appointment, so I'm anxious to see how much he weighs at his 6 month appointment!

Little Miss Lydia...
This little girl is full of spunk! She certainly has a mind of her own! Never mind that she doesn't have close on in most of the pictures in the last month or so, she is potty trained now though :)!! One day I told her that the next day we were going to be done with diapers and she has been done ever since. She still has a few accidents, but the majority of the time she goes on the potty! It is so nice to have only 1 in diapers! Way to go Lydia! She got a Lemon Meringue doll to celebrate because we think she looks like her!!
Crazy girls...
Not sure why Jenna wanted to make a funny face for the camera and one day she will hate this picture...but for now I think she is cute. Plus, it is cute that her little sister loves to do pretty much EVERYTHING Jenna does!
Halloween 2011
Halloween certainly isn't my favorite holiday of all times, but it sure makes it more fun to have kids love it so much. The girls wanted to be strawberry shortcake so I decided to make their costumes instead of buy those expensive ones. They turned out so great and the girls still love them! Anthony really wanted to be Darth Vador and his best friend Brady decided to be him too. Those boys really love doing the same things!
One of the only times each year that we get a family picture...love it!
We love that our ward does a trunk-or-treat at the church. They kids LOVE to walk around the church and fill up their baskets. We then go hit a few houses of people in our ward that love trick-or-treaters and call it a night. They still manage to come home with WAY too much candy!
I love this picture of Owen, everyone thought he was just the cutest thing ever...but really he is so they are right!
Anthony loves to organize things, can you tell? He even still has some of his candy (they only get to keep about 10 pieces) in a box under his bed all organized...Jake admits he did the same thing with his :)!!

Ucon Carnival...
Oh how I love Halloween (sort of). I love that the kids love to dress up and that could be where my love ends. But the kids love it so we do the best we can to let them enjoy it. This year started out with going to the Ucon Elementary carnival again. The kids love it. I was helping with the PTO so we took the soft serve ice cream machine and sold that. It made it fun to see all the kids costumes! My girls loved matching and we got so many compliments on their home made strawberry shortcakes! I'm so glad they turned out so cute! Anthony was excited to be Darth Vader and then became REALLY excited when I pulled out the red light sabor! These are the toys we came home with, perfect! Two little strawberry shortcake dolls for the girls and a guitar for Anthony!
