Sleepy...

Owen is such a good little boy!  He sleeps wherever we need him to take a nap.  I love when he is super tired and just conks out anywhere :)...this pose does not look comfortable to me, but apparently it was because he slept for a long time this way! He is a great little sleeper at night too which is a complete blessing.  The nights that he isn't sure are hard, so I am grateful they do not happen very often!

Too long...

Apparently it has been too long since Anthony had wrestled.  He needed someone to wrestle him and he tricked his sister into doing it.  She isn't too hard though :).  I found a 'wrestling' bag in the closet and gave it to Jenna.  Even though it has a pony on it it apparently is the same style of bag Anthony takes wrestling so I think that is what sparked the interest into wrestling again.  He sure loves that sport!

Splash Park...

Love the Rexburg Splash Park and love that my kids are finally big enough to actually GET IN the water.  Last year when we went they wouldn't go near it, this year they did a little better and each going down the slides a couple of times, but certainly not very many.  Hopefully with swimming lessons they will start loving the water a little more!

And you cannot visit the splash park without a ride on the carousel. The kids LOVED that part!

Aunt Jaimee &Jenna...

Aunt Jaimee came to visit and spoiled little Jenna.  She got her hair done, lipstick and eyeshadow on and Jaimee painted her toenails and fingernails!  She felt just like a princess.  When she came up from being downstairs with Jaimee, she couldn't stop smiling and was holding her hands out so everyone could see her!  Jaimee quickly became one of her favorite aunts!!

Camping, hiking, shooting, OH MY....

We love camping...just don't get to do it as often as we should!  A few weekends ago, we got to go camping and had SO much fun.  Our friends the Parkers joined us up at Medicine Lodge to hike, fish, shoot squirrels, ride four-wheelers, eat yummy food and get dirty!  We fit a lot into 1 weekend!  The kids did so awesome in the camper this time and we cannot wait to go again!

A trip to the Mountains...

On the 4th of July we wanted to go up to the Mountains and enjoy the beautiful world!!  We invited our friends, the Frasures to come with us and had a great time.  On the ride up there we weren't sure the weather was going to cooperate, but it turned out to be a beautiful day!  We enjoyed roasting hot-dogs, smores, riding the four-wheeler and motorbike!  We all got super dirty and had a GREAT time!

Fireworks...

A few families in our neighborhood buy some awesome fireworks and put on a show for all of us to see! It is so much fun to have our own personal neighborhood show.  Plus, I finally remembered to take my camera and make Jake get some with me and my kids :)!!

Summer Fun...

Trying to keep 3 young children busy and having fun is certainly a challenge sometimes...especially when I have to take care of Owen!

One afternoon we decided to do a 'science' experiment. We poured milk into 9x9 pans, added some food coloring and then with Q-tips dipped in soap the kids touched the food coloring and watched what it did!  They thought it was pretty cool....oohed and awed even :)!! Love when things turn out successful!
Hopefully we can do more fun things like this little activity this summer!

Cheese Me....

Our little Lydia is growing up on us.  It seems so weird to have her be able to communicate so well with us.  It makes her seem older.  She is still a little girl though with some funny little quirks.  She LOVES her binkie still.  It stays in her room almost all the time though so it isn't too bad.  But when she gets tired, mad or we have to correct her actions, she will go upstairs and get a "binkie fix".  Once she is done, she will leave it there, come back down and join us.  I think it is so funny!  Someday we will get rid of it though :).

Another one of her cute little antics is how she plays with her blanket.  She sticks her cute little finger into the side of the blanket where the seam has been folded over.  If you are lucky enough to be by her when she has her blanket, she will even let you stick your finger in there!  Love it!!
*She loves her baby brother Owen and loves to give him kisses and when he looks at her she just giggles and says "he look me".
*She talks A LOT.  But if she doesn't know the word she wants or hasn't figured it all out yet she will just say "Eaaa" (not sure how to spell it).
*She is obsessed with shoes.  She will change her shoes a million times in the day and loves to put everyone else's on too.

Love this little girl!!
