Yummy!!

My little Jenna LOVES to eat....doesn't matter what it is, she likes it!  When we were over helping with the Bountiful Baskets on Saturday we had lots to do and I didn't bring enough treats to distract them because we don't usually take that long.  So, the kids thought it would be a yummy treat to eat a mango, skin and all.  I love mangoes too, but not the skin. It is too tough for me.  I thought no way would they eat it, but Jenna and Anthony proved me wrong.  Jenna went to town on the mango.  Juice was running down her chin, into her hair and onto anything that it could reach.

Once we got home, she took a little break from it but when I was sitting on the stairs talking to Jake, she decided she needed some more.  She was so into it, she was so noisy, eyes bulging and was just loving every bite....Jake just had to take a picture.  Gotta love those mangoes!!

Playing in the snow...

We had the day off yesterday and didn't want to take the kids anywhere there might be germs...or they could spread their own so we decided to pull out the four-wheeler and play in the snow for a little while.  I wasn't going to go out, but decided at the last minute to actually go.  I am so glad I did.  I had a great time!  I walked out to meet the rest of the family in the back meadow and got to pull Anthony around the field.  Then Jake hopped on.  Then, Jenna and I took a ride with Lydia.  It was all so much fun and the kids were just giggling the whole time having a great time.  Didn't think I'd ever get behind a four-wheeler in a sled when I was 6 1/2 months pregnant, but sure had a great time!!

Just plain cute...

Grandma Williams made these adorable skirts for the girls for Valentine's Day and this is the only picture I have been able to get of them so far, I'll keep trying though.

We had some balloon's left over from Anthony's Kindergarten party and the kids just loved playing with them, Lydia especially.  She was laying on it, biting it, sitting on it, using it as a pillow and so much more and it did not even pop!  She just thought it was the best thing ever.  Don't you just love her Cheese smile when she sees the camera?

Valentine's Day ...

What would Valentine's Day be without decorating sugar cookies?  We had a crazy start to the month with TONS of sickness in the house. I alone had a positive strep test, ear infection, positive influenza test, sinus infection and just plain felt crappy!  So, needless to say, I wasn't really ready for Valentine's Day this year.  Luckily, Grandma's and Grandpa's came through. The kids got so much LOVE from them that they didn't even notice that their parents only gave them hugs and cookies :).  Jake went all out this year and left little Valentine love notes all over the house for me to find.  It was such a wonderful day...loved it!

Jango Fett...

Anthony has really been getting into Star Wars lately and yesterday he wanted to dress up as Jango Fett.  I do not know much about Star Wars (read VERY LITTLE) so we borrowed the movies from our friends so at least I can know what Anthony is talking about.

Apparently he is blue, with a gun and mask and you cannot see his eyes :)...all Anthony's description. I think he did a heck of a job coming up with a costume!

Down time...

This time of year never seems to result in too many pictures, but this little scene was too cute to not capture.  I had a quilt up tying it for the Humanitarian needs and the kids just LOVED to play under it like it was a fort.  We played puzzles, games, had adventures and read books under it.  One night I came out of the kitchen to find Jake reading stories to the kids under their fort.

I love my kids and especially their Dad!!
