Artscow--update

A little while ago, I posted about Artscow, a new online photo printing place. I placed my first order and was surprised to see just how much shipping was. I later learned that they were from Hong Kong. So, I divided the shipping cost out into the free prints I was getting and they still ended up being .09 cents and that is still a good deal in my book to have them brought right to my house. I was anxious to see what the prints would look like and how long it would take to get them to me. Boy was I surprised when they got to me 5 business days later! It was the fastest shipping I've had with an online photo company!! AND I love the prints. They are clear and wonderfully colorful! I am very happy with the results. It is worth doing it while I can get 400 free prints and a whole bunch of extra free stuff when you order and they keep adding more free stuff to my account. This offsets the shipping fees, I think. They probably won't keep my business forever, but while I can get something 'free' why not??

If you want to sign up and get some free digital prints made....go here!! Enjoy your 'free' prints and I want to see the scrapbook pages you make up with them :)!!

Jenna has been having a real hard time sleeping lately...her front teeth are finally making their apperance! She was so peaceful for about 10 minutes of napping that I was shocked and had to take a picture! She looks so beautiful!!

Cousin FUN!

We have had quite the week or so of fun. I have been trying to stay off the computer as much as possible since i'm already on it quite a bit for my job, so I have been missing in action with my posts....sorry. At the beginning of last week, Anthony's cousin Luke came for a visit to Idaho! We are always so happy to have him come. Anthony and Luke have so much fun together. We actually had good enough weather to wear shorts, t-shirts and get in the pool. The weather didn't last long, so we are glad we took advanatage of it when we did. I think it has rained almost every day since we got the boys in the pool!!
In the pictures of the boys with the lawn mower, they are putting 'gas' in the tank. Anthony filled the turtle up with dirt, Luke put water in it and then they put their 'gas' in the tank of the lawn mower and off they went to mow the lawn. It was quite cute and very creative of them.

They had such a good time and we hope Luke comes back again soon ... or if any other cousins want to come play--we'd love that too!

Put me in coach...

Anthony LOVES baseball. He cannot get enough of it. He wants to play everyday, almost all the time! He has gotten so good at hitting the ball when we pitch it, we had to ban it to an outside activity. Every time Jake gets home from work Anthony will ask him to play baseball with him. He loves to catch, hit, and even practice fielding. Jake will hit grounders to Anthony and he'll move his feet and snatch them in his mit. Anthony even has the stance down for baseball. If we are the ones hitting, he will inform us that we need to have our elbow up, feet apart, hands together and keep our eyes on the ball. I love our little baseball player!!

He is ready to play some baseball!! He even likes the movie Sandlot because it is all about baseball. Does anyone know any other movies that have a baseball theme? Sandlot is getting a little overplayed in our house :)!!

Artscow...a new photo printer online

Okay ladies... I love having the ability to print my photos online. I don't have to go to Wal-mart, i don't have to go into town and they just come right to me while I've done everything still in my pajamas :). I have been using other companies as well, but this new place has a wonderful promotion running.

I ran into a new shop online and to get the word out to everyone, they are running some wonderful deals. It is Artscow.com and they are giving away 400 free prints some are 4x6 and some are 5x7. As soon as you sign up you get credits for 50 of each for the next few months. You are eligible for a bunch of other great products that are free or discounted too, I just haven't done much research into those. If you are going to do it, please follow this link....

Referral Link : http://www.artscow.com/default.aspx?Ref=358585

I haven't gotten mine back yet, so I'm hoping the quality is okay, but if they are free it is worth a shot! These offers are for a limited time, so act fast! They are only doing it until they give a certain amount away free. Let me know how it goes for you! 400 Free prints really is too good to be true for me who is behind on scrapbooking. This doesn't mean I'll get it done quicker, but at least I'll have the pictures in front of me!

Kids do the craziest things...

Well, my first encounter with an embarrassing moment from my children has occurred. I was hoping it would have taken a few more years. Anthony got a hold of my cell phone the other morning while I was in the kitchen doing dishes and he called our neighbor while being on speaker phone. This is what I hear as I'm trying to figure out where the person talking is coming from....Dragon Tales? Seemed pretty realistic for Dragon Tales.

Anthony....HI.
Neighbor...Hello? Is your mom there?
Anthony...No, mom is sleeping.
Neighbor... Oh really?
Anthony...Yah...I watching dragon tales. (not quite so clear)
Neighbor...I really need to talk to your mom..is she there?
Anthony... Yah.
This is where I run in and try to take the phone away, which makes Anthony scream...
Neighbor...Hello? Hello? Katie?
Me... Yes, I'm here. I'm just trying to get it off speaker phone.

I then apologize profusely. My neighbor is the sweetest lady and was just about ready to hang up the phone and walk over here to make sure I wasn't passed out and needed help. I was so red in the face and couldn't say sorry enough times. She was nice about it and said...if you ever need me...just call :).

Lesson learned....LOCK the cell phone!!

Llamas in trucks, donkies and puppies!

Posted by Picasa
On Sunday, we went down to Grandma and Grandpa Williams to see their llama, donkies and puppies. Anthony couldn't get enough. He ran straight to the puppies and just loved them and loved them. Then he couldn't stop feeding the donkies grain. He then got to ride in Grandpa's truck with the llama in the back. They are trying to train the llama to go on backpacking trips with them and ride there in the truck. Jake is taking his scouts on a 50 miler and wants the llama to carry his pack :). Jenna liked both the donkey and the puppies. I think both of my kids just like being outside. It was such a beautiful day!

Handsome and Pretty~

Last week when we were getting ready to go to church, Anthony really wanted a tie just like his Dad. So, i've been trying to find one ever since. During our weekend in Salt Lake, I was able to find a few and the shirts to go along with them. Sunday when Anthony woke up from his nap, we were getting ready to go down to his Grandpa and Grandma Williams and he found his tie. He HAD to have it on over his monkey shirt. Everytime he sees it now, he puts it on his shirt and tells us he is ready to go to church. It is so cute.

Then there is Jenna....she is facinated by the jewelery that i've started to wear. When we were at Becky's, I gave her my necklace and she LOVED it. I couldn't get her to look at the camera, just the beads. It is amazing the difference between boys and girls. I thought it was so cute....it even matched her outfit.

A full weekend...

Jake and I decided it was finally time to take the trip to Salt Lake that we have been wanting to take FOREVER. We have so many family and friends down there that we don't see very often that we have been planning a trip to see them all for a long time. Jake took Friday off and we headed down to Salt Lake. Thursday night we stayed at Jeremy and Becky's and let the boys have tons of fun together. They are playing together better and better everytime we see Luke. It is fun to have cousins so close in age, now if we could just get them to live closer together.

Friday Jake and Anthony went and visited the Cabellas and Jake got his lever action 22 gun that he has wanted forever. He was so excited and has shown it to everyone that will look at it :). Becky, Luke, my Mom, Jenna and I all got to go shopping. It was a fun day.

Saturday was filled with watching softball and football. We went out to Tooelle to watch Lindsay, Alyssa and Jaxson play ball. Lindsay and Alyssa were playing in the same tournament so we were able to watch both of them play. They were great! Jaxson happened to have a flag football game about 2 minutes from the softball field so we were able to go watch him too. Anthony thought it was so great. He wasn't sure about the flags, he just wanted to play tackle. Jake and I then went and visited friends from the past years and it was so nice to catch up and see each other.

We had a great weekend away. It was fun to go, but it was nice to come home!
