Brigham City Temple...

I LOVE when there is a temple close enough to go to the open house so I can take my kids in the temple so they can feel the Spirit and we can be reminded that we will be a family forever throughout all eternity!  The kids loved this one and were especially excited for the bus ride up to the temple and the cookies after.  They loved seeing the chandeliers sparkle in the light, the rainbows that the windows created on the floor and to feel the peaceful feeling while there.  I am SO glad we drove down to take part in this amazing building!

Staples...

Oh what a day!  I got a babysitter to go out with my friend Michele before she moved to another state :(...and while we were out I missed a call from the babysitter and about 5 from Jake.  Oh NO!  I ended up finding out that Anthony needed stitches and Jake had taken him to the doctor.  That obviously ruined the rest of our day out so we had to come home...bummer.  He was playing hide-n-seek and tripped on a box coming out of our storage unit and hit is head on one of the metal racks we have downstairs.  OUCH!  Jake said he was super tough when he got the staples and was awesome when we got them out too.  He must just be used to it or something...hopefully we will be injury free for awhile!

Guymon Family Olympics...

Oh what a fun family reunion we had!  My Mom and Dad put together lots of fun activities along the Olympic theme.  It was so fun!  We had the balance beam, the hurdles, javelin throw and then a few team relay races.  Then we made boats and had boat races.  SO MUCH FUN!  My siblings and I even got in on the fun of the balance beam!  Thanks for the fun party Mom & Dad.

Idaho Falls Flag Football...

Ahh...football season has begun.  Anthony is playing on 2 separate teams this year and it is kind of nuts.  He enjoys playing with his wrestling friends and cousin on the Bonneville Bees team.  It has been a fun year and he has learned lots!

Random...

This little baby Owen (not much of a baby but he still gets called that) is so much fun.  He is the best kid ever.  He LOVES books and anytime he can get you to read to him he is super excited.  He loves to sit on your lap and look at the pictures and it is a special treat when you actually read to him.  He loves his sisters looking at books with him too.  He also loves helmets...bike helmets, motorbike helmets...it doesn't matter. he just loves to have them one when he sees them.  He is a little cheeseball and loves to make everyone around him laugh.  When we are sitting up to dinner, he will make a sound so we will all look at him and then he will pull some funny face or do something silly so we will all laugh.  It is so funny!  He loves to be in the center of everything.  He gets into EVERYTHING and thinks its great when he finds a cupboard open that I forgot to 'lock'.   We sure love our Baby Owen!

Motorbike practice...

Naturally, when Jake got home from work Monday Anthony HAD to go practice riding his motorbike, so Jake got his out, we took my four-wheeler and we made it a night.  It was fun to watch Anthony improve and figure out where the brake was.  He only had to run into the back of Jake's motorbike once to figure it right out :).

WipeOut party...

Oh we had so much fun with this party!  8 energetic 7-year-olds were kept quite busy!  I was having a hard time figuring out what kind of party to let Anthony chose from and had the thought of doing a WipeOut party.  I pulled it up on YouTube and let Anthony watch a few episodes and he was hooked!  It was so much fun.  They slide down the giant slide, ran and slide into the pool to get out a fish, jumped over the big red balls, got hit by pool noodles, ran through the crazy sprinkler and slide down the slip-n-slide.  It was so fun! Everyone got a turn being timed and then they just kept going through it and stopping at their favorite station.  I couldn't believe how much laughing was going on.  Anthony's uncle came over and helped and he was a lifesaver. He even played water football with them.  So much fun!  I am glad it all turned out fun for Anthony.  I love doing special things for my kids birthdays...they only come around once a year ;)!

Anthony is 7...

It is so hard to believe that my kids are growing up.  Anthony turned 7 this year...so crazy!  He had a great birthday this year.  It was on a Sunday so that was kind of a bummer, but he ended up having a gift to open on Saturday, ours on Sunday and then a friends party on Monday, so he just celebrated all weekend!  He has been wanting a motorbike for years now.  Jake finally found one that was a good price and we have been storing it in our neighbors shed to surprise Anthony with for months.  Boy was he surprised!  He was just excited for the helmet and then we told him there was a motorbike involved :).  Love this boy!  After opening gifts, we ate an ice-cream sandwich cake and just enjoyed celebrating Anthony.  So glad he is in our family!

River Rock Youth Triathlon...

In one of Jake's race packets we got a flyer for a Youth Triathlon.  We asked Anthony if he wanted to do one and he was so excited!  He would tell everyone and anyone who would listen that he was going to do one.  He would practice his swimming at Rigby Lake every time we went with Jake and they even did a mini trial run of the whole thing once.  They swim 50 m, bike 0.8 of a mile and run 1/2 mile.  Anthony had a great time.  He couldn't stop smiling, especially every time he came past his cheering section :).  He had quite the support group...Grandma and Grandpa Guymon, Aunt Katrina and McKenna and his cute sisters and brother.  He did so great and loved every minute of it.  He cannot wait until next year.  Jenna will be doing it with him next year and she already talks about it...especially right after she turned 5.  "I am 5 now and now I can do a triathlon".  Cute!  Lydia cannot wait until she is 5 so she can do one too.  Once Owen if 5, all 6 of us will just have to do triathlons together :)!!
