It's a bird, It's a plane, no it's super.....

Anthony and Jenna!!

Oh we have had fun with Grandma Williams' Superman costume. Anthony has been really into Superman recently and we aren't sure where he got it. He loves to dress up like him and fly off anything. I found some PJ's at the store that were superman and had a cape so Anthony wanted to put it on Jenna.

Jake tried to make them both fly at the same time, but they were a little too wiggly! We had some good laughs though!

Fish, Four-wheelers and FUN!!

It has taken me forever to get this posted, but last weekend we went with our friends, the Barton's up Fall Creek and went four-wheeling and fishing. We took up a picnic lunch and had a great time. We ate a lot of dust and had a fun tire experience on the way home, but all in all it was really fun. Taylor and Anthony (with their dad's) caught so many fish. It seemed like everytime they put their pole in the water, it came out with a fish. They were little, tiny fish, but still so much fun for the kids. Anthony had a great time and asks EVERY day when he can go back...hopefully tomorrow :).
Jenna LOVES to be outside, but it sure tires her out. She fell asleep both on the way up, stayed asleep for a little while and then again on the way out on the four-wheeler. I love being close to mountains and having fun friends to share the memories with!

Memories

I've seen this around on so many blogs and shared so many memories, I wanted to see what memories of me people had! Add it to your blog, hopefully it will be fun for me too.

I am jumping on the bandwagon (mostly because I feel like I haven't been getting enough comments lately...) so-Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember!

Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. And for those of you that don't have blogs but still read mine PLEASE leave a comment anyway and show me that you love me!

Enjoy!

Tagged

I've been tagged. This list was a hard one to make up. Not sure if these are random or not, but they seem to be unusual as Jake always tells me I'm weird when #2 and #3 come up.

6 random things about me...
1- I HATE spiders, I have my two year old come and step on them for me.
2- I can't eat sandwiches unless they are from Subway. I can eat meat, cheese and bread separately, but together makes me gag.
3- I can't even stand the smell of mustard.
4- I turn the computer off on the weekends I don't work and LOVE not checking the computer for anything.
5- I secretly wish I could write a hymn to be in the hymn book.
6- I wish I could not sleep so I could get more done when my kids are sleeping.

It has been awhile....

I'm not sure if anyone reads my blog anymore, but I'll post for my own sake and for the few that I know enjoy it.

Last week, I spent the week at my mom's while Jake was with his scouts on a 50 miler hike. They had a good time, but not as much fun as I had. The kids got to play with their cousins, Josh-o (as Anthony calls him) and Grace. They loved Grandma's new swimming pool and Grandpa's horses. It was fun to make memories with cousins we don't see very often.

We also got to make the cutest bags ever! I LOVE how mine turned out and can't wait for the other one to be done too! My mom is always finding such cute projects to do and if we didn't try to make one for everyone we know, we could get them done faster....but what is the fun in that?? Here is a picture of my pink and black one! Thanks MOM!!

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July. I started off the day by running in the 5K Firecracker that goes along the parade route. I improved my time by 5 minutes of the last 5K I ran. If I could just stop throwing up on the last half mile, i'd get my time to be even better. Oh well...it is an amazing feeling being able to run 3.1 miles. Jake brought the kids in after the race and we watched the parade. It was fun and Anthony had a good time waving his flag at the passing cars/firetrucks/people.

After the parade, we went up to Bear Creek to go motorbike riding and four wheeling with the Williams family. It was a lot of fun despite the mosquitoes, and dust :). We strapped Jenna's carseat to the front of the fourwheeler and she had so much fun. Anthony just loves being on the motorbike with Dad and getting dirty! We drove up to the top of the mountain close to where the boys hunt in the fall and it is no wonder that they continue going up there. it is beautiful! The mountains are amazing and the view is so gorgeous.
Anthony took the picture of us in the snow. He is getting to be a pretty good photographer!!

We left the mountain and went straight to the fireworks show. The fireworks always amaze me. It is so awesome that people can figure out how to make such a pretty show out of them. We had a great 4th of July and we hope you all did too!

To Bone and Back...

Well, the race has come and gone and I'm finally able to walk normally again. It was so hard, but so rewarding. I still cannot believe that I finished 5 miles. I could not have gone another step, but I finished. Six weeks ago I couldn't even run a mile and then I was able to run 5!! YAHOO!!

We had a fun filled Saturday and even Jenna and Anthony got to take part in the fun. We rode up there and were able to be in the support car most of the day. I missed the first two runners so I didn't get pictures of them, but everyone else we got to cheer on and watch run. We'd go to about every mile and hand them water or spray them down if they wanted it. It was a really hot day and the pavement added to the heat. Not an easy run, but it was fun and I've already said I'd do it next year. I'm not sure why we pay to torture ourselves running, but for some strange reason it is rewarding. I'm already signed up to run another 5K tomorrow!! Hopefully I'll keep improving my time and enjoying running even more!

Here are some pictures of the team:
