Loving the car...

Owen LOVES to be outside and one of his very favorite places to be is in this little car.  He loves to open and close the door, eat the steering wheel and zoom around.  He can only go backwards, but at least he is moving!  He thinks it is just great fun!

Tea Party...

The girls were enjoying a nice Tea Party on the "jumpoline".  I love how creative these girls can be when they get together!

Grammie Williams Egg Hunt...

The kids look forward to Grammie's egg hunt every year.  We hid around 100 eggs and the kids had a great time collecting them.  It was even more fun to watch Jon, Jessica and Jason hide them :).  It was a great end to a very fun Easter weekend!

Dying eggs...

The kids really had a fun time dying eggs this year.  It is not something I was looking forward to and almost didn't do it, but glad we did!  They enjoyed making all the colors on each egg and could have done it all night long. Lydia just liked putting them in the cups and I loved seeing her face when she took them out.  Jenna liked to color on them first and then see if we could tell what she drew.  She also enjoyed putting stickers on them when they were dried.  Anthony was trying to make them multicolored and probably could have kept doing it all night.  It was fun to see their personalities come out in their eggs!

Ucon Easter Egg Hunt...

Because we got SNOW the Friday before Easter, a few of the egg hunts were re-scheduled for later in the day.  We were glad because that meant Anthony got to go to one, even after having chosen to wrestle.  I love the Ucon egg hunt.  They do such a great job.  It was Lydia's last year in the tennis courts and the other 2 kids were out in the field.  Lydia had to walk CLEAR across the tennis court to get a flower she had her eye on and she still ended up with plenty of eggs.  She was very timid and didn't want to take eggs from other kids around her...it was sweet.  I had to take a picture of her little Easter Bunny socks sticking out of her shoes. I thought that was so cute!  By the time I got to Jenna/Jake she had already gone through her basket and I'm not sure why I didn't get a picture with her. At least she got a picture with the bunny!

Anthony ended up getting quite a few prizes this year.  He got the game Candy Land, some sidewalk chalk and a ColorWonder set.  He was super excited!

Easter Bunny...

The Easter Bunny came and left its trail of jelly beans to the kids baskets.  This year she left fruit snacks, a mini chocolate bunny and their own spinbrush toothbrushes.  The kids were so excited!
We asked Anthony if he wanted to do a wrestling tournament or go to Easter egg hunts and he chose wrestling, so while he and Dad were at wrestling, I took the girls to an egg hunt in at Tauphtus Park.  It was crazy, with LOTS of crazy people, but we had a really fun time and the girls got lots of candy!  I love to see the excitement from the kids for these sorts of things.  If it were up to me, we'd stay home :)!!
Jenna was supposed to go to the 4-5 year old section, but because I was alone, I just had her go with us and explained that she was a bit older.  She was so sweet and made sure all the kids around us got eggs.  There was one little girl who didn't get any so she took some eggs out of her own basket and gave them to me to give to the little girl.  She was so excited and I was so proud of Jenna or noticing another person needed some!

Peek-a-boo...

Anytime Owen gets put in his carseat with the cover over him, he finds the side and makes sure he can see out.  It is so cute seeing his little face sticking out and trying to be part of the world.  He does it when he wakes up from a nap in the carseat too and sometimes I think he does it before he even wakes up...he can just sense that it is covering him.  Cute little guy!

Great Grammie...

Grammie Fjelstrom was here for a quick visit, so we had to get a few pictures before she left again.  The girls just loved seeing her and Lydia wouldn't leave her side.  So cute!  Lydia asks about our Great Grandma now every time we see someone who could 'possibly' be one at the store....love that!

Chillin....

We did a lot of book reading, laying around and hanging out in the month of February and March.  I had to have another surgery to have an ovarian cyst removed so it was pretty chill around here.  Glad that is over with and pray I never get one again!

2011 Race Medals...

Jake ran in quite a few significant races last year.  He ran in the Teton Dam Half Marathon, Top of Utah half marathon, TOU FULL marathon and the Grand Teton Relay (overnight craziness).  He decorated his office with the medals, but took them down so he could replace them with ones from 2012!  Can't wait to see what he comes home with this year!

New Camera...

I have been saving up for a new camera for a LONG time.  I finally got enough to go buy it!  It was fun to throw down the cash and get my camera!  I haven't had time to really dive in and learn as much about it as I would like, but I do love the pictures I have been able to get from it.

The kids jump outside the minute the sun is up around here...which is only every few days.  They love to push Owen around in the stroller, ride their bikes and just run around and be crazy.  It hasn't been a big winter, but it seems to have lasted a long time!  I hope Spring comes soon and stays awhile!

10 months old...

Owen is now 10 months old...I cannot believe how fast his little life is going.  He is the cutest little guy.  He giggles all the time and we love to hear it.  He loves to pull himself up on EVERYTHING and gets into anything he can get his hands onto.  He loves to pull up to things and take them off the shelf or whatever it is, he especially likes to do this with our bookshelf.  I love going into his room and seeing his smiley face when he wakes up from his naps.  He has 8 teeth and is getting 4 more...love teething.  He wears mostly 9-12 month clothes but some of his things are 12-18 months.  He weighs 20 pounds and loves to eat.  He thinks he is a big boy and only wants to eat 'big people' food but he still eats an occasional baby food.  He loves to be outside and anywhere near his brother and sisters.  Love this little active boy of ours!

Mountain Top wrestling tournament...

In March, we traveled down to Sandy, Utah to attend a wrestling tournament.  Last year we went down and it was a HUGE tournament, but Anthony ended up with pink eye.  This year we went down, it was less than huge and Jake ended up getting a grade III ankle sprain.  I think we are going to avoid the tournament next year :).  Overall, Anthony got some really good matches and did VERY well wrestling.  He had to wrestle up in weight groups but he fought super hard and wanted every win he got!  We were very proud of the way he wrestled.  We ended up having a great trip, albeit hectic and not exactly what we had pictured but overall good!  My Dad got some great pictures of Jake and Anthony wrestling and we couldn't have done what we did without my parents their!

We took Jake's brother Justin and his friend Cory down with us to wrestle and they ended up being lifesavers.  They helped the kids while we were swimming and helped drag everyone around in a wagon at Hogle Zoo on Saturday.  After Jake hurt his ankle on Friday night, we knew we'd have to find some crutches so on Saturday after the tournament we went to the DI and found a great pair for only $5.  He ended up using them all over the zoo on Saturday so they were a good purchase.  I am upset that I didn't take my new camera with us to the zoo and get some good pictures but because of how hectic things were I totally forgot.  We had a really fun time at the zoo though and enjoyed out mini vacation to Utah!
