STOP Living in the Negative!

Alright ladies and whoever else reads this(but I'm sure it is mostly ladies)...this is my confession I need some change in my attitude and my self esteem. I have been very down lately and I'm sure it is because of the lack of sunshine, fresh air and positive mental attitude. The winter always does this to me and it is time to snap out of it. I am going to start LIVING IN THE POSITIVE, not negative. To do this, I have come up with a few goals. I have been told by many that if you tell someone your goals and write them down, you are able to stick to them easier. So here it goes.....my 5 goals for helping me live in the positive!!

1. Eat healthy and exercise EVERY day.
2. Write something I am grateful for down every day.
3. Think positive towards others and myself.
4. Change my wardrobe up a bit so I'm not wearing the same thing every day.
5. Scrapbook 7 layouts a week of my cute, cute kids

Here is to hoping writing these down will help me stick to them!!!

Grandpa Guymon's Photography!!

I love that we live so close to Grandpa Guymon with his awesome camera, computer and skills. He can always capture the best in my children....and take out the parts that aren't so good. I always think we need to take my kids in to get their pictures taken, but i'd rather spend the money to go to Logan and see my parents and let grandpa do it! Thanks DAD!! I love this last batch!

Eastertime is full of cheer....

... It means spring time is finally here!!

My little family and I enjoyed such a great Spring weekend in Logan for Easter. Anthony got to play with grandma and grandpa and Jenna got to smile and smile at them.

We got to do so many different things. The weekend was full of lots of very enjoyable activities. We decorated Easter eggs on Friday night, searched for eggs at the mall on Saturday morning, and again at home on Saturday afternoon, went to the park, flew a kite and played in the dirt. What else would you want to do in a weekend? Anthony had so much fun. I wish we were close to both set of grandparents so we could see each other more, but what special times we have when we stay there over night and can be there all day! Here are some pictures of the adventure.

Spring??

Anthony wants to play outside everyday. He stays out there until his hands are too cold to move. The other day I let him go outside to wait for his dad to come home from work. He was ready to go with his big boy underwear on, boots, coat and hat....I had to bribe him to get his pants on :). He found the first puddle he could JUMP in. These pictures remind me of one of my favorite pictures of my brother Wayne when they lived in Alaska. Mom said he would always find puddles too. I often wonder if Anthony looks like Wayne, so what better way to capture his alikeness to his Uncle? Anthony sure loves the outdoors. We can't wait for it to really be spring and we can actually see the grass and enjoy the warmth of the sun. I hope it comes soon!

This one he is asking permission to jump! Off he goes!
This is jumping to the other side!

He was so wet when his dad came home we had to take off everything and wash it right then!

Jenna's new trick!

Jenna is more than mobile now, but she had yet to learn how to sit up by herself. She would arch her back to get to where she could roll and scoot to get to where she wanted to go. She has never really liked to sit there and play with toys. She would rather roll and 'chase' after Anthony. In our travels to Utah last weekend, I stopped at my mom's house and grandma thought it was so funny how mobile Jenna was but couldn't sit up. Well, apparently Jenna listened and is now quite good at sitting up by herself. She still needs assitance most times, but she is so much better even since Sunday. What a good little girl to listen to her grandma...hopefully she will someday listen to me that well :).

I've been tagged...more about me

I've been tagged...A Little Bit about Me

10 YEARS AGO: I was 14. I was hating school because I didn't have any girlfriends that were nice. I was in that horrible stage of changing friends when the ones you have become mean and you don't want to be like them. This wasn't the best year of my life that is for sure.

5 THINGS ON MY TO DO LIST:
1. Mop the kitchen floor (I'm with Becky, I HATE this job and put it off as long as possible)
2. Scrapbook
3. Write in my journal. I write on my blog instead.
4. Finish Jenna's christmas stocking
5. Clean my bathrooms

WHAT WOULD I DO IF I WERE SUDDENLY MADE A MILLIONAIRE?
I'd go to Hawaii with Jake. I'd pay off the house and then rent this one out and build us a new one. I'd help Jake live his dream of starting a grape vineyard on our acreage. I'd buy a cricut. I think the list goes on and on. I would like to think i'd save some, but it sure would be fun to spend it all!!

4 BAD HABITS:
1. Keeping my sink full of dishes until there is too many to put in there so I have to put them in the dishwasher. Then there is no room to put them all in there and the cycle starts all over again.
2. NEVER folding the laundry before I do another load.
3. Wasting time on the computer.
4. ??

5 JOBS I'VE HAD:
1. Mom!
2. Medical transcriptionist
3. Macey's grocery stocker
4. Teller at US Bank
5. ??

5 PLACES I'VE LIVED
1. Idaho Falls, Idaho
2. Logan, Utah
3. Milwaukee, Wisconsin
4. North Salt Lake, Utah
5. Bountiful, Utah

I ENJOY...Laughing. Spending time with family and friends. Scrapbooking. Playing EVERY sport with Anthony. Eating Candy. Warm Weather. Camping. Fourwheeling. Crafting with my Mom. And Life in general!

I'll tag Steph, Jenny and Janelle.

Big Boy Anthony!!

Anthony has decided he wants to be a big boy so he can wrestle, shoot a gun, ride a motor bike, ride a horse and so many other things with his dad as well as go to school. We have tried to get some pictures of him doing these things lately. We went to a wrestling banquet the other night and grandma brought Anthony one of the old singlets to wear. Now, everytime he wrestles his dad, he has to get on his singlet, headgear and the band around his ankle that he and his dad made. He LOVES to wrestle. And to Jake's credit, he hasn't pushed Anthony one bit....Anthony just truly loves sports. He NEVER plays with anything else. I put most of his toys downstairs on saturday when i cleaned his room and he hasn't even noticed. All he ever wants to do is play football, wrestle and baseball. He is quite good at all of them! We love our little sports man!

Here he was getting ready for school, but had to keep his helmet on (thanks Jeff!!)
Here he is ready to wrestle!
This is him after he pinned his dad telling me who won on his way to see himself on the camera :).
And this one is just cute!! I love my kids!

Potty Training versus Being a Prisoner..

Have you ever felt like you can't leave your house? Ever feel like you will never be able to take your child out of the house again? If not, try potty training your 2.5 year old. I know the end result will be worth it, but man is it hard to be in your house 24/7. We started the potty training escapade on Monday and made leaps and bounds since then, until we put him in pull-ups to go to the store and get mom out of the house :). Today, he has had more accidents than he did the first day....a whole 3. Sheesh...what is a mom to do? How long does this last, being stuck in the house because you don't know when he will need to go potty? He has been doing wonderfully and LOVES his big boy underwear. He keeps reminding us that when he is bigger he will shot a gun with his dad, wrestle and hunt in the mountains :). We keep reminding him this is the first step to get to those wonderful things. After we remind him of that, he runs into the bathroom. We are making progress and only use 2 diapers a day, one for nap and one for nighttime!!! YAHOO!! Let's hope he keeps doing better and better!

Jenna has found a new thing to giggle at....peek-a-boo. She LOVES putting her blanket over her head, pulling it off and giggling at whoever she sees first. It is super cute. I can't believe how much she has grown in the first six months of life. It sure is amazing having a baby in the house to remind us just how blessed we are and how much our Heavenly Father LOVES us. Here are some of my favorite pictures of her peek-a-boo fun.

Kids are so much fun!!
