Lone Pine Nursery Fishing Day...

Anthony took this picture!

One of the local nursery's has a HUGE pond that they stock with fish once a year. They do a huge party where you can go and fish, eat hot dogs and pop and just enjoy the sun :). We decided to go this year since we love to fish and it was an easy spot for the kids. We didn't do much catching of fish, but we did catch a lot of smiles and some really cute pictures! Hopefully next year we will be able to get some fish ;)...
Can you see anything similar about these two sisters?

The Drive-In...

We got invited to go to the Drive-In with some friends and since it was Toy Story 3 and Prince of Persia we decided to go! It was perfect, watch the first one while the kids fall asleep and then watch the second one with the kids asleep. HAHA!! Lydia and I fell asleep in Toy Story 3 but the other three were wide awake. Jake and I decided we didn't want the kids to watch Prince of Persia and didn't want to stay up THAT late since we had a busy day the next day so we went home. It was still a fun night and the kids keep asking when they can watch a movie out of the truck again :). I love making memories!!

The last two are waiting in line to get into the Drive-In because we knew it would be a busy night...they were PACKED!!

Neighborhood 'camel' party...

We have a wonderful neighborhood as far as neighborhoods go :). Lots of friends and lots of kids! Jake's Dad has a camel, as we all know, and he LOVES to show it off. He wants to let everyone ride it, touch it, whatever! So, we decided it was time to have a neighborhood party. It turned out to be so much fun! There is an empty lot behind some of the houses so we all gathered there for hot dogs, food, four-wheeler rides and socializing. Jake ended up doing the hot dog cooking and cooked over 175 hot dogs...it was crazy. Almost everyone at least touched the camel with many, many people getting on it. Nobody could believe that there was a camel even coming until it showed up. It was a beautiful night with the sun shining and everyone enjoying themselves. Cannot wait for next year!!

Lydia was obviously LOVING this Popsicle.

Lydia was being shy because about 5 or 6 people were all there saying awww, how cute :)!
This little trailer was being pulled by the four-wheeler. It occupied my older kids all night and I didn't even have to do anything with them except get them a hot dog :). They had so much fun!!

The first taste...

Lydia LOVES to sit on the counter and 'help' me when I am making things or just to be part of the 'big' world. This was her first taste of some cake batter, I think she liked it :)!!

Trying to walk...

Lydia is still not walking, but she wants to! She will take a few steps and figure out she isn't holding onto something and freak out :). So, we pulled out the stroller walker and tried to get her to figure things out more with that. She loves it. She giggles the whole time she is walking, that is until she gets stuck on the wall...

This is the face we get when she cannot go any further.

I wish you could hear the giggling she is doing when I took this picture :)!!

Cruising all over the place!
Hopefully one of these days she will figure out it is more fun to walk, that way she can have more fun outside because she HATES the feels of grass :).

***please ignore her not having a shirt on. I am not sure why she doesn't. And yes, her hair is curly in the morning but by the evening it looks like I haven't done it in a week.

T-ball 2010...

Here we go again! The whirlwind called t-ball. We practice once a week and have three games a week for the whole month of June...its crazy! I am, once again, a coach this year. The kids have fun! We played Anthony up an age group this year because he wanted a little more last year. He does great! We are great for the first few innings and then after that the kids get a little bored and don't pay much attention :). Its a fun summer activity though and keeps us super busy!

Memorial Day camping...

Wow, I am not sure why we try to go camping on Memorial Day. It is just a good thing we have trailers or we wouldn't have any fun. We got a mixture of just about every weather you can imagine. Rain, snow, hail, wind, sun, and everything in between.

We did a lot of four-wheel riding when it was nice enough..

This was about the only time we had all of the kids outside at the same time without it raining!!
This is how Lydia let us know she was awake from her nap :). The pack-n-play was on the dinette bed of our trailer! She is so cute!

We did a lot of fire watching, cuddled in blankets!

We do have fun going camping, but just with it would get a little warmer. Anthony held on to the tradition of getting sick this weekend while we were at Medicine Lodge. He did it two years ago too. He just laid in his bunk bed, watching movies and slept almost all day Sunday.

I got to go see where Jake shot his bear the week before and the beautiful country that it is! It was amazing. I even got to see a bear bait been knocked down from the bear and scratches on the tree from its claws! VERY COOL!

We played a lot of cards and games, ate a lot of good food and just enjoyed being away from the "world". I cannot wait to go back...I just hope the sun decides to come out!

Last day of Preschool...

I cannot believe another school year has gone by and the next one my little Anthony will be in Kindergarten. So crazy. Anthony really learned a lot this year. He can write his name, identifies all his letters, small and big, knows all his shapes, colors and can count from 1 to 100. He now loves to sound out words and knows a lot of his sight words.

Grandpa Jeral brought Ralphie the camel to Anthony's preschool class for them to pet and see. None of them were too sure about the camel. A lot of them didn't even want to take their picture in front of it. We got them to at least stand in front of it. Anthony was so happy and proud that his Grandpa had a camel and brought it to his class. He talked about it all day long!

Hanging out...

Just a few of the things we do when it is too cold or wet to go outside to play! The kids have been getting a long really well together lately...which is SUPER nice! Anthony pushes the girls around in the laundry basket, pushes Lydia on his skateboard and does fun little tricks with his skateboard too.

I sure hope the sun comes out soon so we can start having as much fun outside as we do inside...I am running out of ideas on what to have them do indoors!
