The kids have been running up a storm this year and since they did the IronKids run, they wanted to do another one. Rigby was having their Rigby Lake Days and they had a kid fun run in the morning. Around the lake is about 1 mile so that was their 'race'. Jenna ran with me, Lydia and Owen 'ran' with Jake and Anthony took off on his own. It was a fun little race and then the rest of the summer each time we went the kids would talk about it. Love being active with my kids!

Rigby Lake (a lot) ...
We went to Rigby Lake A LOT again this summer. The kids would play and Jake and I would take turns either swimming or watching the kids. It works out well because the kids love it and worked up the courage to go down the slide this year too! Swimming lessons must be paying off because they are way more comfortable in the water this year. YEA!! They loved making little rivers in the sand and watching the water run down it. It was a fun year with our Rigby Lake pass again this year!
Ucon Baseball 2013 ...
Another year of coaching baseball has come and gone. Anthony had a good time and did very well with hitting and fielding. Funny to watch he and all his friends grow up and come little athletes.
Face Painting ...
Every year at the after party for the Bone to Back race they have an awesome face painter. The kids look forward to it all day! They have to patiently wait in line forever, but they always do and they love the face painting. Lydia's doesn't extend to her eye, or her bloody nose. I took the picture to remember her Black/Blue/Purple eye that she got and had FOREVER. She even still (at the end of September) still has a little trace of purple. She hit her cheek bone on Jenna's forehead when Anthony took her legs out from under her playing kick ball...totally by accident. It was CRAZY how colorful the eye got. She then got a bloody nose from the jump houses at the party. Poor girl!
40 mile ultra marathon
Jake has been wanting to do the complete 40 miles of To Bone and Back for several years. This seemed like a great year to cross that off the bucket list because he had done so much training for the 70.3. He did so awesome! We missed having him on the team, but it was fun to know he was doing something he wanted to do so bad. This was the first time we saw him and he looked remarkably well! He was a little over 20 miles into it at this point. We were so excited that he was doing well and on his time goal!
The bottom picture is when we saw him the next time. He was a little less enthusiastic the 2nd time we saw him but we knew he could do it as he only had about 7 miles left!
This is with about 5 miles left and both Jon and Jared decided they would run the last 5 miles with him, even after doing their own leg earlier in the day. Jake said they made a big difference in his moral. Glad he has great brothers around to help him!
To Bone and Back 2013 ...
Oh what a year of To Bone and Back. This was the fastest year we have ever had! Good job Team Faster Than Tar. This year we got sponsored by Personal Best Performance which was a fun bonus. We got team shirts and didn't have to pay the fees :)...bonus! Our final time was 5:32. We would have gotten 3rd place if the team that got 1st would have stayed in their high school division....bummer! But at least we had a good year.
Leg 1: Issac Fisher 37 1/2 minutes
Leg 2: Jared Williams 48 minutes
Leg 3: Katie Williams 47 minutes
Leg 4: Jon Williams 43 minutes
Leg 5: Will Ricks 32 minutes
Leg 6: Tyson Smith 40 minutes
Leg 7: Mindi Orgill 37 minutes
Leg 8: Jon Hogge 44 minutes
Jake ran the 40 mile by himself this year. Way to go Jake! Ultra marathoner!!

Owen's 2nd birthday ...
Owen is a very lucky kid! He has lots of people who love him lots. Jake didn't want to do the traditional have people over and watch him eat cake party, so he put together a little 4-wheeler, motor bike ride up to "Hot Dog Flats" up Fall Creek. What a fun, fun time! Some people rode up there on motorized vehicles, others came on foot, but I think everyone had a great time and left super dirty :). Owen is such a sweet boy. We love him so much. Happy Birthday buddy!
Jenna's hair...
Lydia got her hair cut for her 4th birthday and so Jenna wanted to cut her hair too. When we went in, she had just enough to donate it to someone who needed it. I am not sure that Jenna LOVED her short hair, but she sure was a sweetie pie to donate it to someone who will completely love her brown hair.
Memorial Day Camping Trip ...
We had such a good time camping this year. The weather was chilly, but at least we never woke up to snow this year! We got to ride motorbikes, bikes, play in the dirt, go hiking, 4-wheeling, saw a beautiful fox, raced an antelope, say a coyote, went to the Medicine Lodge school and enjoyed every minute of it. Jeremy even ended up getting a bear while we were there on Monday so the kids enjoyed that too. Love camping!
Special visitors to school...
The kids think it is great to be able to take such cool animals to school. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Williams the new baby buffalo and Baby Dude got to visit Ucon Elementary. The whole school came out while Anthony and Jenna held the animals. Not sure who had more fun, the school, the animals or my kids :)!
