Trunk or Treat ...

There was a Trunk or Treat at the church house again this year.  The kids love it!  It is quick and easy too!  After the Trunk or Treat we headed around to a few houses in the neighborhood that don't get a lot of visitors.  That was fun too.  Then we headed down to the Williams for a donut treat.  What a fun day full of sugar :)!  Jenna and Lydia were My Little Pony's, Anthony was a motorbike rider and Owen was Mickey Mouse!

Carving pumpkins...

We had to do all of our Halloween festivities without Jake this year as he was on a business trip in Florida.  It was kind of lonely!  But we tried to pack in lots of things to do to forget he wasn't with us.  I am not sure it worked very well :).  The kids had fun doing their pumpkins.  Anthony and Jenna did theirs completely by themselves, which was fun.  They did some carving, some stickers and some "Mr. Potato Head" style.  I love the holidays with kids!  It is busy and lots of work, but it is fun too!

Ucon Carnival ...

What fun is had at the carnival :).  My awesome parents came up and took my kids around as I was committed to helping run the ice cream machine.  It is a busy job.  The kids love getting dressed up and coming to their school! They had a great time this year with lots and lots of tickets.  Owen thought it was great to share his cotton candy with Grandpa!

Corn maze...

While Jake was gone on a work trip, my Mom came up and visited.  We decided to take the kids to the corn maze!  It was lots of fun.  The older kids could have lasted a lot longer but the two younger ones got done pretty quick.  They have clues and hints all throughout the maze and you can play "CLUE" to solve the crime.  It was a nice fall evening and we really had a good time!

Just Chillin ...

Owen LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so much!  He will just sit like this the whole time and watch it.  He is the funniest little kid.  He loves to make people laugh.  He loves to sing.  Loves to be right by you at all times.  We love his funny little personality!  He also really loves to line up anything he plays with...cars, trains, books, legos...anything.  It always gets put in a nice little line of toys!

Squeller's Fun Park ...

I won some tickets to the local Fun Park on Facebook so we thought we'd take the kids up and see what fun we could have!  It was quite fun for sure.  Bumper boats, race cars, huge air slides, miniature golf and lots of laughs were found!  This just might turn into a end of summer tradition!

A Birthday Trip...

Wow, I had such an amazing 30th birthday this year!  Jake was willing to let me go on a trip with my Mom and my Dad joined us on Saturday.  I flew from Idaho Falls to Las Vegas where my Mom was already there so she picked me up at the airport.  We then headed up to St. George and did some shopping along the way.  Found so many amazing deals!  Then we went and saw Mary Poppins at the amphitheater there.  It was incredible.  It rained a bit during the performance, but it was so amazing.  It is an off Broadway theater and the people were simply amazing.  Enjoyed every minute!  Then we headed back down to Las Vegas and went through the temple there.  It was so beautiful!  Then that night we headed to Cirque Du Solee, Mystere downtown Vegas.  It was pretty amazing too!  Quite weird, but seriously amazing what people can do with their bodies and strength!  I had a wonderful time with my parents and enjoyed the time away for a bit!  Happy Birthday to me!!

A day at the zoo ...

We got a season pass to the zoo this year and we definitely got out money's worth out of it!  We went lots and lots and had a great time each time we went.  This was the appreciation day at the end and it was a fun day. They had lots of things out that the kids could see and feel and touch.  They even feed us some hotdogs and chips :).  Love our little zoo...

Anthony's Baptism ...

What an incredible day this was for our family.  Anthony got to have his own baptism because of scheduling conflicts and it turned out wonderful.  He asked his uncles, grandma's and grandpa's all to be a part of his special day. The spirit was so strong that day and I hope Anthony will always remember it.

We had a wonderful meal afterwards and it just completed the amazing day we had.  I will treasure this day forever.  Anthony read the whole Book of Mormon before his baptism day too, I couldn't be more proud of how hard he worked for that.  Some days were hard, some days were amazing but it was a special day when we finished the Book of Mormon, in his very own set of new scriptures.  I love this boy and all the good he wants to do in this world!

Baptism pictures ...

My parents came up to visit us a few weeks before Anthony's baptism and we all went out with Anthony and took some baptism photos in his new suit.  I enjoyed every minute of it and cherish the memories with this little man.  I cannot believe he is 8 years old already.  He is such a good boy and makes me very happy to be his mom!  He is a very handsome boy!

River Rock Youth Triathlon...

What a fun race!  The kids loved it.  Swam across the little lake, biked around the subdivision and ran around it as well.  The kids had a smile on every time we saw them.  They started in different waves, but ended up pretty close to each other at the end.  Anthony even had to put his chain back on his bike while out on the course, what a kid!  This is a very fun event and I am sure we will be there again next year!

Flag Football...

Anthony's Flag Football team was the Raven's this year.  He got to play quarterback and did a really great job.  These boys have been playing together for a long time and it is fun to watch them finally play some 'real' football, plays and all.  They had a great season and only lost once!  Next year is Grid kid tackle football and Anthony couldn't be more excited!

Lydia goes to preschool...

Lydia got to go to 2 schools this year,  joy school which I did with a few of my mom friends, where we took turns teaching and Little Learner's Preschool with Natalie Mueller.  She was a busy little girl, but LOVED it!
