Birthday party for Jenna...

We had a pool party for Jenna with all our friends. We had a slip 'n slide, a dog sprinkler that shoke and the pool out. I had blown up a bunch of beach balls and had them spread around the back yard too. It was a lot of fun. The kids got to eat popsicles and cupcakes! What could be better?

This is her trying to do 2 with her hands :).
After the friend party, we went to McDonald's to eat and play, then went to feed the ducks! The kids had a blast. Then we came home and opened her presents. She just wanted to get the paper off, she didn't really care what was inside.

Happy Birthday JennaMarie! We LOVE you!

Happy Birthday Jenna!

Wow, how time flies. JennaMarie is 2!!! She had a fun birthday yesterday and I cannot believe it has already come this year.

She has started the 2-year-old attitude in full lately.

Here are a few things she LOVES:
  • To say no now instead of her cute little 'yeah' now. I'm very sad about that!
  • Copy Anthony in just about everything, including sitting on the potty and taking her shirt off when she is hot.
  • Play dress up. She is always putting something on with her outfit.
  • Have her hair done. She still just runs to the bathroom when I tell her we need to fix her hair.
  • Riding the fourwheeler with Dad.
  • Camping.
  • Pretending.
  • and she LOVES to eat! She loves cheesesticks, yogurt and bread just about at all times of the day or night.

Another party...only a few more..

We sure have our fair share of parties starting in August with Jake and finishing up with me in September. YIKES!! So, we had a family party for the kids and combined it this year so that we didn't have to do two separate ones. Not too many people at this party, but the kids were SUPER excited for their own cakes! I couldn't keep Jenna's fingers out of hers when she found out it was hers. They were very excited. Here is Anthony with his skateboard! He was so excited to have his very own!
This is Jenna all dressed up in the outfit Grandma Williams gave her.

Blowing out the candles.
My masterpieces, oh wait, just some cakes! I didn't have the time or the energy to produce anything more than that! Oh well, they were still excited!

Bear Creek...

Last week we went up camping to Bear Creek. It was so much fun. We had a stressful week and needed the break. It was so nice to enjoy Heavenly Father's beautiful world and just get away from all the stresses back home. We did some fourwheeling, Some modeling,
Some cuddling under blankets (it was COLD),

Some Bear hunting,

Some playing,

Some hiking with the mules, llamas and horses,

Some relaxing,
and some pack saddle riding, which are the same pack saddles that Jake used to ride in with his brothers,

and some just plain looking cute,
We can't wait to get up there again!!!

Lydia...

We haven't posted very many pictures of my little baby girl for awhile because it hasn't been her birthday or anything..so I thought i'd post a few of her recently. She is almost four months! I cannot believe how quickly it is going by.

Rexburg splash park...

My friends and all our kids...5 Moms, 14 kids, went to the Rexburg splash park and had a blast. Amanda paid for all our kids to ride the carosel that was up there too! The kids enjoyed that a lot too!!! So much fun can't wait to do it again next year. I think the kids will like it a bit more then.

Another party...

After we had fish, green beans and potatoes, per Anthony's request, he got to open his presents from us. He got a nerf shot gun that has real cartridges that eject and a pack of 4 motorbikes that he hasn't stopped playing with since. I think we got some good presents this time! At least for a month or so...

It's A Bug Birthday Bash...

Anthony had a friend birthday party this year and chose to have a bug birthday. He really wanted a pirate one, but I convinced him a bug one would be more fun this year :).
So, we decorated bug houses,

We had lunch, opened presents and ate dirt pies.

played caterpillar, caterpillar, butterfly...that is until the REAL bugs showed up and they wanted to catch them and put them in their houses.
and found 'real' bugs and candy bugs in green crate paper,

WOW, what a fun birthday party! Anthony still tells everyone he sees that he is 4 and had a bug birthday party!! I'm glad we could make it memorable.

(It wasn't in this order, but blogger won't cooperate.)

Anthony turned 4...

Anthony's Birthday 08-12-2005Anthony's 1st birthday Anthony's 2nd Birthday
Anthony's 3rd Birthday
Anthony's 4th Birthday
Anthony turned 4 yesterday! Wow, I cannot believe my baby boy is 4 years old! It sure happens fast.
Some of Anthony's favorites things right now are:
  • Playing with motorbikes
  • Riding his bike
  • Going camping
  • Riding the four wheeler
  • and playing with toy guns.

Anthony still loves to wear shirts and shorts. His shirts cannot be too long or he won't wear them. He loves to eat meat and whenever we serve it he asks which animal it is and who shot it. Anthony can't wait to get bigger so he can have a motorbike of his own. He talks about it all the time and that is the main reason he rides his bike without training wheels now...getting ready for his motorbike!

We LOVE you Anthony!

I Hope they call me on a Mission...

Jon got set apart as a missionary yesterday. What a great experience to be there when the Spirit was so strong testifying that Jon was making the right decision in his life and that the rest of his life will be blessed because of these next two years.
Anthony told me later that he wants to be a missionary like Jon when he gets big like Jon! Thanks Jon for being a great example to my children, Anthony probably won't get as big as you, but he sure can be a missionary!

Yellowstone National Park...

We just got back from Yellowstone National Park. We had a lot of fun camping with my Dad's side of the family. There were so many of my favorite people there! It was great. We pulled our trailer over there on Thursday night and stayed until Monday morning. Friday, we just got to play around the camp site and throw rocks in the water, play games and even got to take a nap! Saturday and Sunday consisted of driving around the park looking at all the beautiful sites and trying to see animals. We got to see buffalo, antelope, deer, cow elk and LOTS of ground squirrels. We had great food and great company!

I hope someday to get to go to the park and see all these wonderful things my Dad gets to see...

We got to see this beautiful water fall!
And this Grand prismatic, but it wasn't this cool looking while we were there.

I'll post more 'camping' pictures when I get the CD of pictures promised from everyone with cameras WAY better than mine. I couldn't even get mine out for fear of being shamed :)!! I hope to get more pictures soon. Check out my Dad's website to see more amazing pictures HERE.
