In one of Jake's race packets we got a flyer for a Youth Triathlon. We asked Anthony if he wanted to do one and he was so excited! He would tell everyone and anyone who would listen that he was going to do one. He would practice his swimming at Rigby Lake every time we went with Jake and they even did a mini trial run of the whole thing once. They swim 50 m, bike 0.8 of a mile and run 1/2 mile. Anthony had a great time. He couldn't stop smiling, especially every time he came past his cheering section :). He had quite the support group...Grandma and Grandpa Guymon, Aunt Katrina and McKenna and his cute sisters and brother. He did so great and loved every minute of it. He cannot wait until next year. Jenna will be doing it with him next year and she already talks about it...especially right after she turned 5. "I am 5 now and now I can do a triathlon". Cute! Lydia cannot wait until she is 5 so she can do one too. Once Owen if 5, all 6 of us will just have to do triathlons together :)!!
