The Blue Angels came to Idaho Falls and since I've been wanting to go to an air show for a long time now, we decided what better one to start out with :)...and Jake got a free ticket from work!! They were AMAZING. Watching the other planes wasn't the BEST, but it was worth the wait to watch the Blue Angels. If you look closely, there is a girl on top of the plane up above...that was crazy. One of the Red Bull racing planes came too and that was cool. There were a bunch of older planes too and they were all neat, but the highlight was for sure the Blue Angels. We sat at center point so every time they came in and twisted one way or the other it was RIGHT in front of us. Sometimes it was so close it would make me sick to watch them!
The kids had fun too and are STILL asking when they get to see the loud airplanes again. The Blue Angels practiced for a few days before the actual show and they would come RIGHT over our house. It was very cool! It was a super hot day and a long show, but it was very worth it! Can't wait for the next time!!
