There was a contest on Facebook from a local furniture place that was Refresh your Space. We had to upload a picture of our ugly furniture, get the most votes and then we would win $250 towards a new piece of furniture. Well, my couch was ugly enough (or I had enough friends help me), that I won! I was so, so excited. I have wanted/needed a new couch for a really long time and was so excited to go get one. We came home with this beautiful pressed leather, chocolate brown one...much better than our old, torn, stained cream one! I cannot believe it took us this long to get a new one. We bought these cream ones USED when we first got married almost 9 years ago!
