Ross Park...

My friend and I needed a break and my Mom wanted to take the girls for a few days, so we met in Pocatello at Ross Park water park.  We had such a fun time! The kids enjoyed every part of the park.  They were hesitant to go in the lazy river, but after forcing them to they LOVED it.  Anthony would even jump into the river inside the tube...it was so much fun.  Owen sat on my lap while we traveled around the river and if we would have gone a couple more times around, I think he would have fallen to sleep.  Can't wait to go next year!

A camping we will go...

We love camping together!  This time was no exception...we had such a wonderful time!  We hiked, we road the fourwheeler, we sat in the creek (it was HOT), we fished, we shot ground squirrels, we rode bikes, we got dirty, we ate yummy food, we roasted marshmallows and we created WONDERFUL memories!!

Rigby Lake Triathlon...

Jake is now a Triathlete!  He did such a great job, especially being super sick all week leading up to the race.  We had a fun time 'training' with him and going to Rigby Lake about twice a week and watching him learn how to swim!  He is super inspiring to be physically fit and active.  Love him for all he does for me and my kids to teach us how to be active!  His brother Jared did it with him too, which was fun!  They both did great.  Jake's final times were :  TOTAL: 1 hour 33 minutes, swim 29:31, bike 40:52 and run 22:59.  Way to go Jake!

Swim lessons...round 1...

Oh swimming lessons...how I love to hate you!  I really do like that the kids do swimming lessons, but leaving my house every day for 2 weeks is hard.  We made it again this year and even signed the kids up for a 2nd session.  I am so glad we did...they turned into little fish.  Lydia wouldn't even let go of her teacher on the first day and by the end she was running and splashing in the water.  Jenna can now float and back stroke all on her own. Anthony can do the front crawl by himself and has WAY more confidence in the water.  It is great to see them succeed and have fun playing in the water!  We started out Jenna and Lydia in the same class as Pikes and Anthony was a Polliwog.  They all advanced in their classes so the next round was even more fun for them!  More on that later...

Rexburg Splash Park...

We need an activity while Jake was gone on a work trip, so we decided to go to Rexburg to the splash park.  We had a great time this year...finally.  All the other times we have gone, my kids are too afraid to get into the water, but this time they jumped right in...after being forced...and had a great time!  We may have to go a couple more times before school starts!
