Snake River Panthers...

Sorry, but you are going to see quite a few wrestling pictures in the next few weeks :). Anthony is in LOVE with it. This is all he wants to do. Jake took Anthony down to Snake River this last Saturday for their tournament. It was such a good experience for Anthony because he got to wrestle two kids he hasn't before and they were tough. I have never seen Anthony want something so bad. We were so proud of the way he fought to keep himself in the match. He got 2nd in the freestyle tournament and 2nd in the folk style tournament. Two more medals to add to the wall :)!! Way to go Nene!

This is what Anthony does after each match he is excited to win...jumps into his dad's arms!

Green Milk and cupcakes...

While the kids were sleeping, a leprechaun came and colored their milk green and made them green cupcakes...they were so excited. Anthony kept looking for the leprechaun in the house and watching for his gold.
Such a fun little leprechaun!!

Nice and clean...

We love bath day around here...nothing better than a fresh smelling, clean faced kid!

The two older ones fresh out of the bath tub!
Lydia was lucky enough to get to take a bath by herself. She thought it was just WONDERFUL!! The older kids quickly came in to watch her play and she thought she was so funny being the center of every ones attention.

We might even have some curl on this girl!
Just one more way Lydia and Jenna would be different!!

Jenna is potty trained---again...

After Jenna being almost potty trained and regressing when Jake went into the hospital in November, we are finally completely potty trained again! It is so wonderful to not have to change her diaper and she feels like such a big girl. It seems like it grew her right up though, WAY too fast! I love my brown eyed, brown haired girl!!

72-hour kits...

I am finally getting our 72-hour kits put together. Thank goodness! It seems like I have been wanting to do this forever. I made a goal at the first of the year to have it done by the end of March so I have a few more months to finish them up. These are the food for each day bagged up and ready to eat :). Now at least we won't starve for those 72-hours!

I used this post here at Sister's Stuff to base my food off of. I changed several things to what we would like to eat and a little bit more nutritious for us, but it was a great starting point!

Skyline Wrestling Tourny...

We made it through our first wrestling tournament! With lots of smiles and voices intact too!! Anthony had such a good time and cannot wait to go to his next one. On Saturday the 6th, he got to go to his first ever wrestling tournament and actually his first match. He ended up taking first :)...and has proudly worn his gold medal since.

He lost his first match mostly because he was trying to figure out why everyone was yelling at him and what to do, but once he figured that out and got that one under his belt, he did amazing. His second match, he got taken down right at first but fought to get off his back. He did exactly what his Dad and coaches have been teaching him. He put in a half Nelson, pushed the boy onto his back and pinned him! Anthony had such a big smile on! His third match was a bit harder and it went into the second period. He ended up pinning the kid too, but it took a little more doing. He was so happy after the third one he almost started to cry.

We didn't know it yet, but that meant that he won. We were watching one of Jake's kids from Middle school wrestle and heard..."35 Pre-Bantum (his weight and division) Anthony Williams 1st place"... He went over got his medal and hasn't let it out of his site since! What a great start to MANY, MANY more wrestling tournaments!!

We were so proud of the way he went out there and kept fighting and had fun. That was what we were the most worried about, but he did so well. he LOVED every minute of it. His Dad was sure happy too!

EVERY February...

We get so incredibly ready for spring...okay we will even take the sun shining at ALL!!

Jenna started our sickness this year...well at least anything serious. We have had a few minor colds and such since Jake's bout with the hospital, but nothing that bad. Thursday the 11th Jenna just wasn't quite right. I could just tell there was something a bit more wrong than the average cold, so into the doctor we went. Sure enough, pneumonia. They drew blood, gave her a shot of Rocefin and sent us out the door for a 10 day antibiotic course. The 15th, Jenna fell, split her head open and got staples. My turn; The 18th I couldn't even swallow anything so I decided it was time to go to the doctor. Strep and sent us on our way with a 10 day antibiotic course. Tuesday, Anthony has a high fever, didn't sleep the night before, could hardly catch his breath. Went to the doctor; strep with some bronchitis. He luckily got a 5 day course of antibiotics and some awesome cough syrup. We got Jenna's staples out too. Yesterday, Jenna had a fever of 103* so we took her in. They didn't want her to have antibiotics this close to her last round, since we just stopped it on Sunday so we are just watching and waiting to see how she does. Today she has been great and then the next minute not so good. Jake has been fighting two colds within this time frame too....glad he doesn't have to go on antibiotics! YIKES!!

So needless to say, we are ready for it to get warm and burn all these bugs away!! Thank heaven we are all still okay and that we didn't have to make any hospital trips this time around. We are still blessed in so many ways, just need a few blessings in the health department ;)!

Here is to SPRING!!!
