Lydia had a fun little party and had a lot of fun being the center of attention :). She wasn't feeling that great because she was cutting teeth, but that didn't seem to matter. We had a few of our friends come over from the neighborhood and just enjoyed the time to celebrate having Lydia in our family! She LOVED her presents. Her chair was a huge hit, she just has to learn how to get out of it without falling over! She dances every time she sees her little dog and loves all the clothes she got from friends.
She was a pro at opening presents....apparently that comes pre-programmed.
She LOVED the balloons~The Happy Birthday Banner is something I just finished making a few days before the party...it will get lots of use again here in a few more months!
She started the cake eating out pretty timidly, but soon realized it was something yummy and dug right in as you can see from the pictures! I hate how blogger uploads pictures and how hard it is to move, so you will get the messy pictures first :).
This was her cupcake cake. The bear is made out of different shapes of cupcakes and just frosted to make look like a cake! I think it turned out super cute!
This was my Dad's job...blowing up the balloons. He blew that white one up about 10 times and let it go. The kids thought it was SOOO funny. Love my Dad!!It was a great party to celebrate Lydia 1st Birthday. I cannot believe it was here, but it sure was fun!
