Jenna brought home a cup of dirt with a sunflower seed in it from preschool and wanted so bad for it to grow into a sunflower...well, I helped it along enough that it DID! It became a HUGE beautiful sunflower. I helped it when it was in the kitchen and as soon as we could we transplanted it outside. Jenna would occasionally go out and make sure it had enough water and if it didn't, she would come inside and ask for pitcher of water and take it all the way out there to water her flower. She was so excited as it grew taller than her, then got the yellow part of the flower and now when its head is full of sunflower seeds! It was fun to watch her get so involved in the process....success!!
