Sue the T-Rex came to the Idaho Falls Museum, so we wanted to take the kids to see all the cool dinosaur bones. She is one of the biggest T-Rex they have found and she was BIG. I cannot even imagine seeing animals such as these in the wild. The kids had a great time going from dinosaur to dinosaur. We had never been to the museum before, so they enjoyed seeing all the other attractions too. An 'old' town like Idaho Falls used to be, lots of local animals *which they didn't really have much interest in because we see these alive* and then their interactive spot for the kids. They got to climb a tree to a bird's nest, crawl through a beaver's house, play in an old pioneer home and even go in an Indian's TP (although Anthony thought we said TV and wondered where the TV was). It was a fun little Family Home Evening. One of the most fun things happened before we even went in, the museum is by the train tracks and a big train came past us right as we were getting out of the car. The kids thought it was great being that close to a moving train!
This is Jenna holding the big dinosaur bone. It was part of its arm.
