We had read about a little Christmas celebration night in Rota, so we decided to head that way for the night. It turned out to be quite a fun night and the bonus of getting to see downtown Rota. The kids of the city do a little parade that is what they think the Shepard did in the old days. The black/red dresses that you see the little girls wearing is what they think the Sheppards wore back in the day of Jesus' birth.
They walked through a few of the streets and into a few plazas singing Christmas songs while they went. After we got to the last plaza, they were able to listen to the story of the Christmas shoes. It was a very enjoyable evening. Once we were ready to leave, all the lights of the city were on and it was beautiful!
