Tangier, Morocco Part 1 ...

Bab Kasba is the old part of the city of Tangier, Morocco. It was quite interesting to walk in this old part of town and see just where so many people live and the life they live.  So completely different than what we live like in Idaho, or even Spain.  Pretty unbelievable to imagine how completely different life would be if I had to do my wash in a bucket.  It was an eye opening experience.  One of the coolest things that were in the Kasbah were the doors and the door knockers.  The picture of the hand knocker is a typical find in Africa.  It is meant to ward off the evil eye and jealousy and bring luck into your home.

This is the local mosque in the Kasbah.
