We had a busy summer. It went by so quickly too! Thanks to some great friends we were still able to sign up for summer sports teams for Jenna and Anthony even though we were gone during sign ups. Anthony played over in Iona this year, pitching machine and did a great job. He learned a lot and had fun making new friends. Jenna played soccer for the first time and really did awesome. Their team was made of up of varying ages and abilities so they started them in the lower level teams, but they did so well there, they moved them up to the higher level. This was good and bad as they got more experience, but they didn't get to win once they moved up. They still did so amazing and Jenna really loved soccer!
We also did quite a few running races and triathlons. The kids would 'play' that they were doing triathlons in the front yard! Cute, cute kids.
ANthony and I went and ran the MAD 5K and he ended up doing it in 27 minutes. He left me in the dust! He did a great job doing a race by himself!
