Stickers are so much fun...

We got some stickers in the mail the other day and this is what happened to them :). Jenna had them on too, but wouldn't keep them on long enough to take a picture of them. This entertained them for quite some time. Why is it that the 'free' things make such great toys?

We have hair...sort of...

I am finally able to do things with Jenna's hair. It has been fun to be able to do a few different things with it. She is still lacking a little bit of hair on top, but the back is super long. I keep trimming the back hoping the front will catch up, but to no such luck yet. Maybe some day she won't have her Dad's hair line :). She is still just the cutest little girl ever!!
She LOVES to let me do her hair too, which is a plus. I'll tell her we need to go do her hair and she runs to the bathroom and sits still (for the most part) while I do it. So much fun!!

Pine Wood Derby...

Our Elder's Quorum had a pine wood derby for their activity this quarter and boy was it fun!! Anthony and Jake had so much fun making it together. Jake let Anthony help cut it out and paint it . It was such a fun activity. Jake learned a lot about making a pine wood derby car, so the next time maybe we can come closer to winning. We sure weren't last, but we were nowhere near first either. Anthony keeps asking when he can go race his car again at the church.

He had to put 'Nene' on there from his lego men.

Spring = MUD...

We have been LOVING the sunny weather this week...the only downfall?? MUD!!!!!

Anthony was digging in the mud and I heard Jenna squeal with laughter. I went out to see what was going on and found Jenna stuck in the mud and Anthony trying to dig her out. I thought we were going to lose her sandal forever.

We sure do like the sunshine though, even through all the mud!!!

A weekend away...

Last weekend we were lucky enough to get away for a while. We went down to Salt Lake area and had a blast. We traveled to my parents house on Thursday night and slept there. It is always fun to relax at my parents and let the kids play.

Friday morning, we got up and went to the Draper Temple open house. It was so beautiful. I love taking my kids to the temple with me. The spirit is there even though it is not dedicated yet. Even the kids can feel it. I hate having to leave and walking out of the temple into the world. It was a great experience once again. Anthony keeps asking when we can go back and see Jesus' water. He loved the baptisimal font.
After the temple, we went and had lunch and drove down to Orem to see Cabellas. Jake bought a shot gun and needed to pick it up. The store was amazing. Anthony loved seeing all the animals and 'shooting' clothes (camo stuff). We went to the shooting gallery and he got to 'shoot' a bear, elk, skunk, snake and lots of bottles. It was great fun! He already wants to go back.

We then headed up to Luke's house. Anthony was so excited to see his cousin and his baby brother, Seth. We decided to go to the Kangaroo Zoo and boy did the kids have fun. They ran and ran for the whole 2 hours we were there. I couldn't believe some of the slides they went down. They would just run from one blow up toy to the next. That was the first thing they asked for when they woke up the next morning too, Can we go to the Zoo??

Saturday we got to visit some of our friends from when we lived down there and went to school. We got home late that night and had a blast. It was such a great weekend. It is always so nice to get away and enjoy time spent with family and friends! I can't wait for the next time!

Been busy sewing...

I've had the fleece picked out for Jenna's blanket for a long time. I just never got around to getting something done. When I saw a rag quilt recently, I decided my little Jenna needed one. When I was sewing Jenna's, Anthony thought he needed one too. So we went to the fabric store to pick out his material.
He picked every piece that is on there and is so proud of it. He loves the 'shooting' material (camo) and wants to shoot the deer that are on it too. He loves green too so the blanket is perfect for him.

I ran out of the tan material and Jake gave the suggestion to put an "A" on the back of it. Anthony was super excited to learn that it was there!!

Valentines 2009...

Kids sure make holidays a lot more fun at my house. Jake went fishing in the morning (my present to him) and so we waited to give our kids their presents when he got home. When Jenna woke up from her nap, she found a trail of hearts that Anthony had laid out for her. They lead her to a stuffed animal kitty complete with sunglasses. She was super excited. She followed the trail of hearts like she knew just what was going on. Anthony had fun leading her to the kitty too.
After she found her present, Anthony got to find his by playing the hot and cold game. He was so excited when we started saying warmer, warmer, he could hardly believe it. He wanted to play again right after he found his Legos!

This time we must have gotten good presents because they actually play with them, not just the box they came in ;).
