This site is not far from our home so we headed up there one afternoon. It is a working archeological site, still in progress of finding amazing things. The site actually dates back 2800 years. It dates back to the time of the Phoenicians. These people are actually the people who we based our English alphabet off of. It was an interesting site. All the kids commented it was a lot like what we saw in Italy, just from different people. They had to dig about 30 m down to get to some of the things. This used to be the coast line of the ancient days and if you look far off on the horizon you can see the bridges that connect Cadiz to El Puerto, so the water has gone way back since those days!
