After Baelo Claudia we ventured further south to the tip of Spain, the very windiest part of the country, Tarifa. It is where the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Oceans meet and where the coast of Africa and Spain create the straight of Gibraltar. It was literally so, so windy. This is considered the mecca for Windsurfers and Kite sailing and you can totally completely understand why. We got there and enjoyed our typical lunch of PB sandwiches, salami and cheese, apples and carrots. The kids got to play on this little playground for a while and then we ventured out into the city to take in some sites and enjoy the beautiful city of Tarifa.
