I think we stopped and took more pictures on this drive than in our whole two months of being here. The white topped mountains and green valleys speak to Jake and I apparently! We loved every minute of the drive through Germany and Austria, even when we had to turn around because there was an accident in the pass we were going through. If we would have stayed to wait it out the firefighters said it could be up to 2 hours, so we opted for the extra 30 minute drive to be able to feel like we were making progress and get somewhere instead of sit and go crazy with the kids! We were grateful for our safe arrival in the Tuscany region of Italy that night. What a beautiful world we live in.
